Uhuru unites Sonko, Shebesh and Waititu

Jubilee coalition leader Uhuru Kenyatta has asked aspirants Mike Mbuvi and Rachael Shebesh to support Mr Ferdinand Waititu.
Yesterday Mr Mbuvi and Ms Shebesh ditched Mr Waititu accusing him of secretly supporting Coalition of Reforms and Democracy’s (CORD) aspirant Margaret Wanjiku.
The two had decided to support Jimnah Mbaru of Alliance Party of Kenya, who was defeated by Mr Waititu in the The National Alliance party (TNA) nominations.
Speaking at the Panafric Hotel at the launch of Mr Waititu’s manifesto, Uhuru stressed that it was important that Jubilee coalition wins the Nairobi County gubernatorial debate.
“We have supported you in your individual capacities but more so, we support you as a team; A team that we expect to deliver for the people of this country,” he said. “And I want you to understand that we will not stand by and let you ruin the dreams of many people,” charged Mr Kenyatta.
Mr Sonko oblidged and agreed to back Mr Waititu: “Because our leader has spoken, who am I to refuse to oblige? I respect him very much and I agree that here in Nairobi, we have one women’s representative, one governor and one senator.”
