Obama to take oath of office

US president Barack Obama will today take oath of office to officially begin his second term in office.
The ceremony will be conducted in the Blue Room, White House as thousands of Americans prepare to attend tomorrows swearing in ceremony in Washington.
In 2009, over 1.8 million Americans attended the historic inauguration of America’s first black president.
Thousands of Americans, who volunteered to prepare Washington Mall’s parade in readiness for tomorrow’s venue, are doing finishing touches.
President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama joined other volunteers in celebrating National Day of Service by groom a school.
Pop star Beyonce Knowles will sing the national anthem before Mr Obama is inaugurated to officially begin his final term in the white house.
Other reputable artists and poets set to perform on the much awaited event include James Taylor, poet Richard Blanco and Kelly Clarkson.
James Tarlor, the first singer and songwriter to win the American Idol, and Beyonce performed for the president at his 2009 inaugural balls.
The Jay-Z family has continued to support Obama’s campaigns by hosting fundraising events. Beyonce. In the recent Obama re-election campaign, Beyonce even wrote an open later saying that Obama was the leader “to take us from where we are to where we need to be”.
Kenyans are expected to remain glued on their televisions tomorrow to follow the proceedings of the ceremony.
